ZHENDONG LOW-CARBON COMMUNITY PROJECT

The main objective of this project is to transform the Zhendong Yiju neighborhood into a near-zero carbon community by the end of 2025. The project envisions creating a sustainable urban environment that promotes green living and serves as a model for other communities.

The design addresses the challenges of the existing infrastructure, such as narrow passageways and outdated facilities, by proposing renovations that improve accessibility, energy efficiency, and overall aesthetics.

The buildings in the community are primarily constructed of concrete with simple finishes, lacking in thermal insulation. The renovation plan includes upgrading the building materials to improve sustainability and reduce energy consumption.
